Quickly generate a number of Groups with Submasters on a 1:1 channel mapping.
This is aimed mainly at users who use a DMX desk as a Submaster wing and would be faced with the tedius task of manually creating a large number of groups and assigning a channel and submaster to each group.
LightFactory Submaster Generator enables you to easily generate up to 1000 Groups and Submasters consisting of 100 Groups across 10 Submaster Pages. The Groups are generated on a 1:1 basis with channels.
For example you have 48 channels which you wish to control, but you are using an external 12 channel DMX desk as LightFactory Input.
In this case you would generate 12 Groups on 4 Pages, totaling 48 Groups and Submasters.
Groups 0001 through 0012 :
Group 0001, Channel 1, Submaster 1 ('Slider 0001')
Group 0002, Channel 2, Submaster 2 ('Slider 0002')
....
Group 0012, Channel 12, Submaster 12 ('Slider 0012')
[These channels are controlled by Submaster Page 0]
Groups 0013 through 0024 :
Group 0013, Channel 13, Submaster 101 ('Slider 0013')
Group 0014, Channel 14, Submaster 102 ('Slider 0014')
....
Group 0024, Channel 24, Submaster 112 ('Slider 0024')

etc
Note: For LightFactory v1 each page has a fixed number of 100 submasters per page, as per the example above.
With LightFactory v2 the number of submasters per page is user defined, so in the above example if the Submaster Page Width is 20, then on Submaster Page 1 the submaster numbering would start from 21.
